The circle of life.

August in Sweden is the season of crayfish parties. We eat them with dill and drink "snapps". We sing songs and wear silly hats and although it's not August now, I had a moment of inspiration.

I have been wanting some do some more commercial character drawings for a while, and I've always loved this kind of 70's look. I think it looks good, hopefully I haven't gone to far away from "what is me". 

I was thinking about doing a set of four, one for each season, this being autumn. Perhaps not the most original idea ever, but hey, it was enjoyable to draw this one.

So I managed to create an image with my leopards.

The illustration is loosely based on a song I like; "Animal, on est mal" by Gerard Manset.

I don't often do type. A safe bet is to do it in french. Adds a bit of "je ne sais quoi".

Right?

Got three illustrations on the go, but I don't really know where they are heading. I have got three others I'm thinking about making but haven't gotten started with. The white empty screen is terrifying and facebook is always there to tempt me...

But hey, I did some leopards!
